Our Philosophy

We believe an artist is an artist, no matter what tools they use. Technology keeps changing how music gets made, but the vision, the craft and the intent behind it are human.

Our Founder

Prose Ventures was founded by Jules Miller, an entrepreneur, operator and investor whose career has spanned technology, media and the creator economy. She founded two legal tech startups (both acquired), has advised/invested in music tech startups and built innovation programs inside VC funds and Fortune 500 companies. She moved to Nashville in 2021 and learned that “the music industry is just the legal industry with a bowtie.” Prose Ventures is the merger of her experience in the tech and music industries: a media company built for a new generation of technology-enabled artists.
